Day 9: Presentations
Today, our SHANTU teachers helped our little friends work together with their group to create posters and oral presentations to share their takeaways from our 2022 summer camp program. Younger students drew their favorite activities, and older students wrote English captions for the pictures and a script for an English oral presentation. Our Healthy Helpers wrote about the UN SDGs and how to stop the spread of germs. They also drew pictures of our field trips, including the seed collection activity at Xinzhuang Sports Park and the NTU campus tour.
Once our Healthy Helpers finished preparing their posters, we held our summer camp closing ceremony. Principal Chang and several students’ parents delivered short speeches during the closing ceremony. Then, our Xinzhuang students presented posters describing their favorite memories and learning experiences from our summer camp. We were so impressed by our campers’ presentations and happy to see that our little friends learned a lot from our summer camp. Following the students’ presentations, Principal Chang gave our Healthy Helpers Chinese and English certificates celebrating their hard work throughout our summer camp program.
